John F. Heltzel AIA, PC is an award-winning architectural firm committed to design excellence and exceptional service. We enjoy a variety of small to mid-sized projects, including new buildings and tenant fit outs for religious, restaurant, office, retail, medical, industrial, office/flex, and municipal projects, as well as single-family homes.
We are seeking applicants with the following qualifications:
- Seven+ years of experience working on small to mid-sized commercial, including independently taking projects from schematics through construction
- Registered or actively working towards registration
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Adept designer and problem-solver
- Solid understanding of building codes, construction, and construction detailing
- Enjoys coordinating with owners, consultants, building officials, and contractors
- Proficient in Revit. Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus.
- Resides in commuting distance from Old Town Manassas, VA
- Able to attend client meetings and visit job sites in the DC metropolitan area
- Currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer
